WHO WE ARE

Established in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is a prestigious international nonprofit organization, boasting a membership of over 17,000 professional women of African descent across 299 chapters in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. Renowned as one of the nation's oldest and largest volunteer service groups, these extraordinary women are dedicated to the cultural and economic empowerment of African Americans and others of African heritage. Upholding core values such as friendship, integrity, service, and accountability, The Links, Incorporated members are influential leaders and change-makers in their communities and beyond.

They embody the roles of business and civic leaders, mentors, and activists, committed to making a significant impact through partnership with like-minded entities. Annually, members dedicate over a million hours to community service, garnering recognition and accolades from prestigious organizations, including nominations for the Luxembourg Peace Prize and accolades from the UN Association of New York. With programs spanning Services to Youth, The Arts, and Health and Human Services, The Links, Incorporated executes its mission through education, economic development, and advocacy, continuously striving to enhance communities and foster peace and understanding globally.
